Arsenal Pub. Decent grub and decent pint
This Young’s pub is disappointingly overpriced – £6.70 for a Guinness and a staggering £15.05 for a double house G&T. Despite the premium cost, the drinks lack any distinctiveness, and even the Gin house pour, Plymouth, doesn’t add much flavor. For the hefty price tag, one expects something truly special, but this place falls short. A Negroni in a top Soho cocktail bar costs less, making it clear they’re taking advantage.
Zero atmosphere, uninspiring music, the food was decent enough. The staff were friendly, but the pub has lost its independent, local charm, offering the same old, boring, and expensive choices, typical of Young’s pubs nowadays.
Despite 15 years of patronage, it’s clear that The Duchess of Kent no longer provides a unique or memorable experience, making it hard to justify the extraordinary high prices.

So, if money is absolutely no issue & you’re up for a pretty ordinary Guinness & extortionately priced house G&T, you know where to go.
Great place to have a drink, staff is wonderful and great service.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Live sports and the atmosphere of an arsenal game are a must!!
I had a delightful experience at the Duchess. The vegan roast was a flavorful delight, complemented by a crisp cider. My partner enjoyed the chicken roast, paired perfectly with a classic Guinness. The total bill of £65 felt reasonable for …
Nice and cosy place. Good quality food!
A very English pub, with typical local customs
